Projects timeline

Current projects of the Plasma Science Hub* are carried out within the framework of various funding coordinated programs and with different research partners on the RUB campus and with international partners.

*The plasma research has been coordinated in the past under the umbrella of RUB Research Departments, a strategic support instrument of the Ruhr University since 2007. Research Departments are based on excellence in research in coordinated funding programs. This instrument was successfully evaluated in 2024 and has also been refocused into the new instrument, Science Hubs at RUB, with the goals of fostering research excellence, transfer, and interdisciplinary teaching.
